An aromatic sage that is carminative, antiseptic and anodyne. Used locally it reduces pain and irritation caused by strep throat and internally it is used to reduce the pain and swelling of benign prostatic hyperplasia. White Sage can be used to stop the production of breast milk when weaning a child. |
