An important herb in Ayurvedic medicine, Picrorrhiza is a powerful antihepatotoxin, a choleretic, antioxidant, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and immune stimulant. Research has shown it is comparable or superior to Milk Thistle for protecting the liver against damage from toxins. It also was superior in reversing damage caused by Hepatitis B virus (HBV). This bitter tasting root is a powerful anti-inflammatory which is effective for excessive immune response-autoimmune disease, allergies, and allergic asthma. |
